Comment : We chose Hotel Grand Wein for our honeymoon in December 2005. The hotel was perfect - old style glamour but with plenty of Christmas cosiness and comfort - also very central. Our room was beautiful and spacious and cleaned at your convenience. Room service had all the trimmings - table,flowers etc and all the staff provided excellent service without being too formal. Definitely worth it for a special celebration - we loved it!

Comment : We found the Grand perfect for our purposes: the Staatsoper, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Demel, and fine shopping. The mall adjacent to the Grand has a handy and well stocked supermarket. Our room was comfortable and well appointed.
The Grand's service and arrangement and quality of public spaces are lovely: being greeted by name, smiles and immediate understanding at reception and concierge, in the lobby bar-lounge, the night bar, and in the excellent Le Ciel.
