The staff are so nice and the environment is really home-like. Though it's not in the city center, the house is located in a nice neighbourhood and is within easy walking distance of almost everything in the city. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone. Location is a little bit away from the centre of Reykjavik (15 mins walk) but taxis are reasonable and it is near the bus terminal. Definitely recommend Alba to anyone visiting Reykjavik. It's less than a ten minute walk from the BSI bus terminal, less than 15 mins to the centre of the city. It's spotless, lovely furniture and very well kept. Highly recommended. We booked a triple room at low season over the Internet and it worked out extremely reasonable.
