Comment : Great location. Friendly staff , willing to give tips on local tours and info on local area. Only positive things to say about this hotel.
If however, you are considering staying here, bare in mind that the 'kitchen' only has the bare essentials: two hot plates and two small pots + cuttlery,plates, cups and glassware.

Comment : Only issue I had was that the mattresses in the room were extremely soft. The hotel is excellently located with helpful friendly staff and a great brekfast option.
Good value for money also as I thought Iceland was very expensive in general however the price of the Foss Baron was affordable.

Comment : We were very impressed by how well trained was your staff. All were enthusiastic and most helpful, answering our many questions and booking our tours and airport transfers. They made our stay in Iceland very pleasant.
We would not hesitate to stay at a Fosshotel again.

Comment : The staff were all excellent; but I was especially impressed with Mr. Guobergur Svansson, who was behind the front desk much of the time while I was in Iceland. He was an exceptional young man and a real ambassador for Iceland and for FossHotels!!

Comment : The staff were particularly friendly at this hotel and very helpful. The breakfast was nicely laid out although I would have preferred that the coffee machine produced "real" coffee and not "instant". The bathrooms were a little on the small size with the shower curtain encroaching on the sink. The main selling point of the hotel was for me the central location and the friendly receptionist staff, in particular one girl called Maria.

Comment : was very pleased to be allocated a room upon arriving very early, approx 8.30am. This enabled me to ensure that I was able to get rid of my bags and start enjoying the trips and the city straight away.

Comment : We were very pleased with the rate. Thought what we paid included breakfast but we had to pay extra for that. Great location. Friendly & helpful staff. They let us check in around 7 AM after we flew all night to get there.
