Comment: Rooms were ugly, small, black ant ridden, loud with no form of security once in the room. (No dead bolt or chain for the door.) The comments shared about this hotel on the other travel sites were accurate. One does "get what they pay for..." The bed was so uncomfortable that it gave my husband back problems making us cut our vacation short to return home early. The hotel staff were sweet and friendly and the lobby / restaurant area was acceptable.

Comment: Je confirme qu'à l'arrivée à l'hôtel il est surtout question de sous. Dès l'arrivée on nous demande nos passeports et nos cartes de crédit. Aussi, on nous précise qu'il FAUT laisser un pourboire pour le nettoyage des chambes - une enveloppe est prévue à cet effet dans chaque chambre - et au restaurant. Mais la suite du séjour a été super agréable. L'hôtel est joli. Les chambres sont bien, et très calmes. Le silence nous a surpris, surtout si l'on considère l'emplacement. En réalité, il n'y a quasiment pas de circulation, même si on est à côté du vieux port. Pour ce prix, le petit-déjeuner et le dîner sont compris! C'était vraiment bon.

Comment: the situation nearly just end of the old montreal is excellent. Although I did not see all rooms, mine was very very small. but if u re alone it's OK. The best thing for this hotel is the "meals of Anna" who is the owner (with her husband) and who prepares the dinner and lunch herself. My suggestion, do not eat every lunch and dinner outside, They prepare good Iranian food. hospitality is very nice, enjoy it!!'

Comment: The hotel is not bad, but it's old, the floor creaks when you walk, you can hear the room next door very well, it has a strange decor that finalizes the general weird mood. But it's clean and close to the subway, more or less close to the old city and the room was not as small as I've read. I stayed for three nights and the the third one was "free" and in that case you don't get the free breakfast they suposedly have.

Comment: Nous avons deux petits points négatifs que nous avons trouvé à cet hotel c'est que les murs de la chambre ou nous étions paraissaient mal. Il y avait des barres noires et les bas de murs étaient pas très invitant. A quelques endroits, la peinture était partie. Le tapis de l'escalier pour monter dans les chambres avait beaucoup de graines par terre alors ce n'était pas très invitant. Par contre nous sommes conscients que les chambres sont très petites alors pas beaucoup de place pour mettre les baggages.

Comment: the air frsherner smells in the corridoor were way to strong that you could taste it in your room, the windows did not open to get rid of the smell. it left me wondering if its so strong what is the smell that its hiding that could be worse.

Comment: Perfect location for Old Montreal and other sites in Montreal very close by with Metro. Very safe as well, with separate keys to get into the hotel corridors and then into the room. The only down side was parking--a parking lot was nearby but cost a day.
