Comment: Great hotel in terms of cleanliness and room quality, but way too costly considering it's not located where the action is and not beachfront. The view from our room was disappointing as it was the last room available and facing a rock wall.

Comment: We had a wonderful stay and the room in the old part of the building was excellent.
Two suggestions for improvement- the staff clear the tables at the entrance to the braffast room and it makes it very congested and difficult to get to your table.
We didn't have to leave the hotel till 4 o'clock and so spent the time by the pool. Unfortunately there were no warm shower facilities with a changing room and I would expect this of a 4 star hotel.

Comment: Hotel lapad was situated between lapad beach and old town with a bus stop directly in front. The accomodation was great, newly nenovated, modern in style and exactly what i was looking for after a two week traverse through the balkan peninsula. When i return tomthe region imwill definitely stay at this hotel. My only complaint is that 90% of the rooms have a balcony, but the one we got did not. Everything else was perfect.

Comment: Staff were generally either rude or offhand, certainly made us feel like we were a burden. They are not happy in their work (with rare exceptions). We were seriously inconvenienced by noise from music associated with wedding functions under our window two consecutive nights. Had to move ourselves to the only remaining vacant room close to midnight.
Rooms have high tech electronic light & aircon control panels but provide NO instructions as to how they are operated (& reception staff seemed not to know).

Comment: we celebrated our wedding anniversary at this hotel.A free meal was thrown in. The hotel staff were so curtious and professional;great ambiance,adequate food but not luxurious and we had a very memorable stay at Hotel Lapad.

Comment: - Hotel did not have an iron/ironing board for use within the room requiring that guests pay to have their clothes ironed. I found this exploitative and not in keeping with a 4 star hotel.
- Hotel bathroom looked very nice but was impractical.

Comment: Manque de précision sur les chambres proposées (catégorie supérieure ou standard) qui peuvent être situées pour les catégories standard dans le 2nd bâtiment de l'hôtel, plus éloigné et moins bien situé que le bâtiment principal. A prix égal, choisissez plutôt les chambres supérieures, qui se situent dans le bâtiment ancien, belle hauteur sous plafond et chambres mieux décorées...

Comment: This hotel room was very clean and all public areas of the hotel reception areas restaurant, public toilets (which were very clean) and pool area were to a very high standard which must be comtributed to the hotel mamnagement and staff. Hotel staff were very informative and helpful and were always happy to help.

Comment: My family and I loved the hotel. We took 3 rooms for our first night in Croatia, and it was a wonderful choice. The location was great, service welcoming, and the decoration of the rooms in current minimalist stylw was greatly appreciated. We were sorry we could only spend one night there!
We would go back if we visited Dubrovnik again.

Comment: The only part of our stay that we were disappointed with was with the reception staff. They could have been more friendly than what we experienced. We got a excuse a one point from one of them that he hadn't got round to what was asked because he was "busy".
No apology just, "I've been busy and I haven't done it yet". When we pay the money that we paid in a FOUR STAR hotel I expect the staff to be courteous and helpful. They on the other hand were quite rude at times.
The staff elsewhere in the hotel were great.

Comment: I would not recommend this hotel because we were there during a storm and they knocked on our door at 11pm when the storm was already over, to close our shutters. We were asleep. Food was mediocre for breakfast and the room we choose with balcony did not have seaview and this was a major hassle at check in. The location was a bit far out also. Not too pleased with this one.

Comment: Nice Hotel, good location (harbour - ferry boats to the islands), close to the old town (10min by bus, 35 min walk), excellent for a relaxed and romantic weekend. The hotel is very clean, rooms are comfy, stylish but a bit small. The breakfast is not impressive. We had a seaview and balcony room (8th floor) which I highly recommend!
