Comment: Attractive & comfortable hotel in beautiful countryside surroundings. Really appreciated the delicious breakfasts! Best of all was the very warm & friendly welcome and attentiveness of hotel management, who did everything possible to help us enjoy our stay, recommend places to visit & dine. We absolutely loved it! The only negative was that rooms were a little cold, as there was a problem with the heating system at the time.

Comment: I must start by saying WE WILL RETURN! This was an amazing place with an amazing view and the people were very nice. There were a few negatives. Our room was hot. We opened the windows at night which helped but considering it was May we felt it to be too warm. The house wine was very expensive at 25euros. They need transportation to the town. Taxi's are available but at a cost. None of these negatives will stop us from returning though.

Comment: Splendida posizione in mezzo algi ulivi sulle colline nei dintorni di Lucca. Complesso elegantemente ristrutturato con gusto con muri in pietra e pavimenti n cotto. Ideale per una vacanza di charme a Lucca e dintorni soggiornando in mezzo alla tranquillità degli ulivi pur rimanendo a poca distanza dalla città.

Comment: Lovely Hotel but under-staffed. No lunch facilities and because of remote location no local alternatives.A vending machine for snacks etc would be better than nothing!

Comment: Location is lovely, easy to get to town -- if one can stand to leave the lovely view. We plan to return some day.

Comment: The hotel was as we expected as we had looked for reviews in advance. It would have been helpful if snacks/meals could be made available at lunchtimes as without a car there was no easy way of getting around.
