Comment: Superb hotel and the staff are very friendly. We had a lovely junior suite on the ground floor, which I highly recommend. The hotel is up a hill, just outside the town, but it only cost 2rm for a taxi into town.

Comment: We were supposed to have an extra bed for our son but it wasn't set up. couldn't be bothered asking because experienced this at other Hotels and it would just become to difficult. We decided to order steak for a change mine was fine but my husband ordered blue and it was well done. Also as with our other hotels we were meant to receive a welcome drink and 20 percent off meals etc this didn't eventuate either. Other than that hotel was comfortable staff were friendly but the entire hotel especially outside of building, pool and tennis court need major rectification works.

Comment: Both female receptionists, checking in and out were scary, treated us like little children !! Breakfast could be better with the addition of mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon etc. Managers should walk about a bit more and see the failings of the hotel. We must admit the hotel and service have improved over the last few years, but they have a bit more to go yet. Receptionists need a lot more training in customer care and friendliness as they are letting the hotel down, after all they are the first and last impression the customers have of the hotel

Comment: Two things worthy of comment, one of which I forgot to mention on checking out. The baby cot that was supplied was poorly assembled and the bolts were loose. While using it, the side fell down suddenly and my baby fell out onto the floor. This was highly dangerous. We had to wait til our baby was sound asleep before putting him in it. As we left so early the next morning I forgot to mention it. The other comment is that the sloping floor of the shallow end of the pool is very uncomfortable to walk on. Other than these things, we did enjoy our stay.

Comment: Good feel that we stayed in a place which was not only exotic but also has some historic impartance. A good piece of info, in the lobby area, with nice pictures explained the association of the hotel site to the world history.

Comment: The Hotel is in a excellent location. The staff, pool and other services were very good, but food in the restaurant was appallingly bad. Breakfast was adequate but everyone we spoke to agreed that the evening meals left a lot to be desired. There was plenty of choice from the buffet or a la carte but the standard of cooking was extremely poor. I would only recommend the hotel with a very strong caveat not to eat in the restaurant.
