Comment: On our arrival we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite, which was fantastic even though we was not on our honeymoon. This makes it a little difficult to give an opionion of the standard rooms. This architecture and decor of the hotel was superb and this swimming pool and grounds were great but the breakfst was expensive.

Comment: We had to wait 4 hours for our room despite arriving at 16h30 at the hotel. We've been offered breakfast for that reason but cannot undersatnd what happened, they mentionned cleaning, first 1 hour needed, then 2 then 3......How can it be 3 hours cleaning needed?

Comment: I drove to the hotel from Dubai as a stop over to Muscat. When my friend and I arrived in Sohar it was difficult to locate the hotel as there was no sign boards indicating to the hotel. We eventually had to ask a taxi driver who we follwed from behind to the hotel and had to pay him for his help. We also found driving from Muscat back to Dubai that there was more sign boards.

Comment: what a great looking hotel, pity the maintenance in the rooms very poor, toilets that leak, windows that dont close, patio doors that dont lock. stained carpets, clever with the amenities and linens that have quickly brought up the impression of the room but basic maintenance of an old hotel is really needed. otherwise a good stay thank-you

Comment: Good hotel but service is a bit down. Please improve efficiency in room service. The order for food and snacks took quite long wait.
