| Choupana Hills is a luxurious Resort & Spa nestled on the verdant hillside of Funchal. The development of this project has been inspired by the French architect Michel de Camaret co-jointly with architect-decorator Didier Lefort who designed and decorated the famous Meridien Bora Bora and The Datai in Malaysia. The main features of the buildings are wood and stone, comprised of 34 bungalow-style units built on pillars. Some African and Asian influences can be noticed in the unique decoration of this boutique hotel as well as in other antique pieces sourced from various Portuguese discoveries. The 58 Deluxe rooms and 4 Suites have spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the bay of Funchal or the lush tropical gardens. In the two main buildings you will find facilities such as the reception, restaurant, bars, Spa, lounge, library and conference facilities. |
