| Hotel description |
|
| This family-owned and managed hotel is perfectly situated on the Old Town’s main pedestrian thoroughfare, within easy walking distance to most attractions that Stockholm has to offer. The hotel is named after the English naval hero Lord Nelson, who fought the battle of Trafalgar against Napoleon. Here you stay in a tall, narrow 17th century building that is reminiscent of an old ship and the marine theme is reminiscent in every detail. The characteristic ship styled wooden floors in each room together with a porthole on the bathroom door further reinforce the maritime atmosphere. All the antique items you will find here have been carefully collected over the years by the hotel’s owners and every night, the porter makes his rounds and winds up the old grandfather clocks. With a width of barely six meters, this is without a doubt Sweden’s narrowest hotel. |
