| Hotel description |
|
| The Bear Hotel is without doubt one of the most historic hotels here in England. It dates back as far as the early 13th Century, has been owned by King Henry VIII (and several of his wives) and visited by the victorious Queen Elizabeth I. It is also where the future William III met the Commissioners of James II in his bedchamber to receive the English Crown. But that’s all history now. These days things at The Bear Hotel are a little different - a lot different to be frank. |
