Comment: I paid £95 for a sea view and got the back yard and walls. I asked to pay extra for late checkout which was refused and when we needed a hair dryer there wasn't one. A door outside the room was continuously being slamed hard and it was impossible to sleep with the noise level.

Comment: Staff are really not friendly, one in particular was quite scary. On the 2nd night we had no fresh milk or tea bags to make a cuppa - so much for tea/coffee making facilities! Felt very much ripped off at £85 per night. Hall ways and landing absolutely reeked of stale smoke - SO disgusting! Worst stay in a hotel EVER.

Comment: This was a budget option, so expectations were low, however my visit cannot be described as a pleasurable one. The staff weren't particularly welcoming and were generally offish. There was one instance when a member of staff walked into my room without warning. No idea why she would have reason to, as the cleaning staff had already attended that morning. After this, I cannot say I felt all that safe in the room. The room itself was clean enough, however some TLC wouldn't go a miss ; the shower curtain would fall down, some of the storage units didn’t have handles, and there weren't enough power sockets. I opened the window once and couldn't get it to close properly again due to the frame being rotten. The building itself was also covered in scaffolding with only a small sign to indicate what the hotel was called. In which case I had a lot of trouble finding it. Location wise, it was a good option. Just opposite the wheel and pier on the seafront. I wouldn't return to this hotel, regardless of the price.

Comment: We were in room 16 with a sea view. Carpets a bit grubby, bathroom ok. Sheets pristeen and clean. Lots of tea and coffee in room. Toiletries ok. Breakfast staff efficient and friendly.

Comment: We had a fab stay here for the price we payed.. Rooms were old and dated and could do with a re vamp but they were clean and provided towels and shower gel and soap... The breakfast was FAB! And the hotel staff were really helpfull and friendly.. Overall I would go back as it only cost us £25 each and no it's not the Ritz but it's clean, friendly and cheap :-)
