Position

  • Title: Client Service Manager – Asia
  • Reporting: Client Service Director
  • Part of Client Service department for the Asian region
  • Coordinate with other geographies in order to build a “follow the sun” organization
  • Providing training, help and advice to customers using our organisation’s products and solutions
  • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face
  • Investigating and solving customers’ problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that have been passed on by account managers
  • Handling customer complaints or any major incidents
  • Issuing refunds or compensation to customers
  • Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
  • Analysing statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service our organisation is providing
  • Meeting with other managers to discuss possible improvements to customer service
  • Learning about our organisation’s products or services and keeping up to date with changes
  • Keeping ahead of developments in customer service by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending courses

 

Skills and Experience

  • International
    • Experience in multi-cultural, international organization
  • Internet
    • Experience with Internet B2B company
  • SMB
    • Experience in small or medium business environment
  • Management
    • Successful experience in hotel industry / reservation / front desk management will be a plus
  • Problem solver – coordination
    • Be animated by a spirit of solutions finder through coordination of the stakeholders
  • Languages
    • Fluent in English (spoken and written), Mandarin / Japanese (spoken and written would be a plus)
  • Travel
    • Occasional travel is required
