The importance of e-Reputation

Home Newsfeed FASTBOOKING News The importance of e-Reputation

According to research, 76% of travellers are willing to pay more for a hotel with better reviews. Hotels should make use of any opportunity to encourage their guests to actively write reviews of their stay as an overwhelming majority of reviews are positive. FASTBOOKING hotels using the TrustYou Stars solution see that 86% of reviews are considered positive.*

E-reputation: Unavoidable for an efficient hotel distribution strategy

95% of travellers read between 6 to 12 reviews before making a booking decision. Revenue managers are now using the e-reputation platform to optimise profit because  travellers are willing to pay more for hotels with good reviews.

At the same time, some companies, such as Hotel Valuation, are reassessing the hotel’s digital strategy based on their e-reputation. The guest feedback assists their business to evaluate the hotel.

FASTBOOKING has partnered with TrustYou in recognition of this importance. The parthership further helps hoteliers to improve their online presence as well as to maximise their profit margin. Through the guest satisfaction survey tool, TrustYou Stars LITE, FASTBOOKING hotels can send, collect, and monitor this feedback.

For FASTBOOKING’s customers, the solution is:

1 – Intuitive and simple

The direct access between the FASTBOOKING and TrustYou platforms facilitates the day-to-day feedback and reputation management. Additionally, TrustScores and Meta-Reviews are also provided free within the TrustYou Stars LITE program.

> First, guest email addresses are automatically uploaded from the FASTBOOKING platform to TrustYou. After two days, a post-stay satisfaction survey is then sent to the customer. This solution has already garnered 155,000 reviews from FASTBOOKING hotels within just a few weeks.

> The reviews also become a part of TrustYou’s Meta-Review and the TrustScore. These are incorporated in hundreds of travel sites such as Google, KAYAK and Skyscanner, which have the influence over millions of booking decisions.
